Witness The Beginning and Survive

Revelation Games just revealed their upcoming game, Eden Remains: Arrival. We brought the head of the studio, Jeff Simmons, on to discuss the game, working in game development, and why Christians need to engage entertainment.

What Have We Been Playing (5:10)

Jeff takes off to space in Elite Dangerous to hunt bounties. Logan takes on Dark Souls Remastered and comes out a stronger man than before.

What Have We Been Reading (15:16)

Jeff discusses starting his study on the trichotomy of mind, soul, spirit and Logan smashes some idols with G.K. Beale.

Topic (21:25)

Eden Remains: Arrival aims to tell you a Genesis-style story with a sci-fi backdrop as you survive on a barren planet. Jeff gives all the details on what players can expect from their upcoming game. It's Time To See Which Games Walk Away With Awards

We've played a lot of games in 2020. Some were amazing, others were outright bad. Join Adam and Logan as they hand out awards such as the Comfort Food award, Broken Controller, Game of Shame, and the coveted Golden Deer is awarded to our personal picks for Game of the Year. We also share which game received the Game of the Deer award as voted on by our community in the Facebook group.

Housekeeping (4:48)

What Have We Been Playing (8:25)

The guys tell all about Cyberpunk 2077 and why they both abandoned the game. Logan shares about the awkward sex talk as shown in the game, Haven. Adam finishes up Ori & the Blind Forest to begin Assassin's Creed Valhalla and Immortals Fenyx Rising.

What Have We Been Reading (33:14)

Adam discusses the book "Gentle and Lowly" by Dane Ortlund. Logan finds reassurance and peace in the book of Judges.

Topic (41:58)

Our opinion on Game of the Year is the only that really matters, let's be honest. The guys hand out various rewards such as Comfort Food, Owen Wilson, Game of Shame, Broken Controller, Backseat Gamer, Backlog, and the coveted Golden Deer to the GOTY picks.

To jump straight to the GOTY deliberation discussion, check out timestamp 1:11:38.
