Rather than building a wall between the two, let's build a bridge.

"Keep your politics out of video games" is something we often hear, and maybe have even said. But is that the appropriate response? Join us this week as we discuss politics in games, why they are good, and how to approach them. We also review Digimon World: Next Order, discuss Playstation and Xbox's return policy for digital purchases, and more.

Why Even Christians Who Don't Game Should

In this Bonus Round episode, Logan is joined by his mentor, Michael, and partner in ministry, Collin. They answer two questions from the Deer Listeners in regards to how to talk about video games with people in your church, specifically those who think video games are sinful. They also discuss why it's important for the church to not only be aware of what video games are out there but the stories and worldviews they present, how it impacts youth in the church, and discuss some resources that make learning about video games and their content simple and easy! We fully believe this is a beneficial episode for the church body so please share this with your pastors, members in your church, parents in your church, the guy making your burrito; anyone and everyone!

P.S. This episode was originally intended to be released the week of Thanksgiving but due to schedules and technical issues, it is being released late. Please forgive any outdated language of season greetings.

Do video games actually help with scholastic tests?

Two things Deer Listeners: 1) HOLY WOW WE MADE IT TO 75 EPISODES! 2) The audio is going to be really weird for the first 11 minutes (you've been warned).

Join us this week as Logan discusses sharing the Gospel to 100 students, Adam's dorm flooded, and what we've been playing and reading. For the topic of the episode, we discuss a recent article linking video games to higher test scores and what this means for us as Christians who enjoy video games.
